Jerry Morales

Permian Basin Chapter Chair

Jerry, was born and raised in Midland, Texas. His parents started their family restaurant, Gerardo's Casita in 1977.  In 1997, Jerry purchased Gerardo's Casita from his parents and continues to operate with his son, Chris, to this day.  Jerry also owns and operates the Mulberry Cafe. Jerry was elected to the Midland city council in 2008 and then elected as Mayor in 2014. In 2014, he served as President of the Texas Restaurant Association and has been a member of TRA since 1998.
