Kick start the new school year and bring customers in the door with a fundraiser to help the current and future workforce of the restaurant industry.
The mission of the TRAEF is to provide educational opportunities to build and maintain a strong professional foodservice workforce in Texas.
This year, we are launching a NEW job board, a conference focused on technology and workforce, and offering new school grants. Additionally, we will continue our work on student scholarships, mentor matching, and publishing great advice from industry veterans related to solving your biggest challenge right now - recruiting and retaining.
For the week of September 24-28, our goal is to raise $75,000 to jump start our initiatives for the upcoming year.
In order to participate, your restaurant will agree to donate 5+% of one (or more!) day’s profits directly to TRAEF.
In exchange, the TRAEF will promote your restaurant’s philanthropic involvement across the state with a focus to increase sales and brand awareness, including to all industry leaders, in all owned media and press releases to local and state media.
Some additional details and notes:
- Restaurants are not discounting guests’ checks, rather donating a specified daily percentage from each location
- No flier or collateral will be required to present by the guest
- Restaurant will inform all key managers and staff of fundraiser and promote it within the company
- TRAEF will provide language and promotional materials for your use internally and externally
