(Austin, TX) The Texas Restaurant Association announces today a new key member of its leadership team, Anna Tauzin Rice. Joining the association as its new Vice President of Marketing and Innovation, Tauzin Rice has a proven record of working with restaurants and industry partners to achieve association goals.
In this role at the Texas Restaurant Association, she will report to Chief Operating Officer Malcomb Gardner and will lead the evolution of the association’s sponsorship and marketing strategies. Tauzin Rice’s role will focus on marketing membership and partner products to improve member profitability.
Tauzin Rice steps into the position effective December 5.
Tauzin Rice’s most recent experience was as Marketing Director, Innovation & Entrepreneurial Services for the National Restaurant Association. While at the NRA, she was responsible for numerous marketing and innovation programs, including Startup Alley at the NRA Show, the Restaurant Innovation Summit, and the Silicon Valley Tech Tour. Tauzin Rice is known as an influencer in the world of restaurant technology and plans to expand TRA’s focus on innovative business solutions and products.
Her background also includes roles with J-Lab at American University and the Texas Medical Liability Trust.

Anna earned her Master of Arts in Journalism from American University, and her Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication and Political Science from Texas State University.
