Even during a crisis that has decimated the restaurant and hospitality industry, partners and suppliers continue to go above and beyond to support the unique and independent restaurants of Texas.
From October 12 to November 6, 2020, Mission Restaurant Supply will donate 5% of all in store sales to the Texas Restaurant Relief Fund, an initiative of the Texas Restaurant Association Education Foundation as part of their We Love Our Customers event.
Mission is the largest Texas-based food service equipment and supply dealer, with six locations across the state and more than 300 employees serving the brand statewide. Over their 30-year history, the family-owned-and-operated company maintains a reputation for building strong, lasting relationships and offers an unparalleled menu of in-house services.
The TX Restaurant Relief Fund, launched early during the COVID-19 pandemic, has already raised $2.5 million and distributed more than 575 grants to independent restaurant businesses across the state. Other donors to the fund include Shiner Beer, ExxonMobil, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas, LNF Distributors - Independent Beer Distributors, Republic National Distributing, Texas Mutual Insurance, Wholesale Beer Distribution of Texas, and many others.
"We are incredibly grateful for the generosity shown by Mission Restaurant Supply," said Dr. Emily Williams Knight, President and CEO of the Texas Restaurant Association. "Every bit of financial assistance helps our Texas restaurants right now, and the acknowledgement of what they are dealing with is a gift, too."
“Over the past thirty years, we have built a culture at Mission Restaurant Supply around family values and giving back to our community," said Jack Lewis, CEO, Mission Restaurant Supply. "Especially this year, we remain committed to supporting our industry and extended family of restaurateurs through The Texas Restaurant Relief Fund.”
During the We Love Our Customers event, Mission will offer rolling discounts on various product categories, including 10% off smallwares for the entire campaign. Check this page for your closest location and view the current promotional discount here.
