Dallas Scholarships

The Greater Dallas Restaurant Association is committed to the support, encouragement and development of our future industry leaders. We believe that a strong education is foundational to the long‐term success of the generation entering today’s workforce and ultimately the success of all restaurants and foodservice operations. We are honored that you have chosen to join the industry that we, as individuals and an association, have devoted our careers to serving, advancing and promoting.

Below are detailed instructions and qualification requirements for the GDRA Scholarship Program. Please review and complete them in their entirety. This application will be considered for the Founders Club Partners Scholarship and El Centro College Endowment awarded by the GDRA. Additionally, if you would like to be considered for the Matt Martinez, Jr. “Heartship” Scholarship. Please complete the essay requirements at the end of the application. Applications must be applied for online. Late or faxed applications will not be accepted.

June 15, 2021

GDRA representative will notify applicants by phone, email and mail of awarded scholarships.

No Scholarship Awards Dinner

 NO GDRA Scholarship Dinner. Recipients and their parents are traditionally invited to attend the GDRA Scholarship Dinner where scholarship awards are formally announced. Unforuntately, for the safety of our students and families, we will not be having a Scholarship Awards Dinner this year.
