Rockwall HS culinary team captures 3rd place & Porter HS takes 6th at National ProStart Invitational

Two all-female high school Texas ProStart teams traveled to Charleston, South Carolina over the weekend to represent the Lone Star State in the National ProStart Invitational competition, sponsored by the National Restaurant Association Education Foundation. With nearly 400 student competitors throughout the country putting their skills to the test, Rockwall High School (from Rockwall, Texas) tackled the culinary challenge, emerging victorious with a 3rd place title overall and Porter High School (from Porter, Texas) competed in the restaurant management category, taking 6th place.
